About WAME |
|
The Washington Association of Marketing Educators is an organization of educators who network to improve marketing education in the state of Washington. WAME performs many missions benefiting marketing educators: ¨ WAME officers service on various committees of the Washington Association for Career and Technical Education, giving you voice with our vocational association in Olympia and a voice in the state legislature. ¨ WAME provides opportunities for teachers to keep current in their subject area by providing workshops and forums at conferences such as WA-ACTE Summer Conference, the WAME Workshop and Coop Conference. ¨ WAME drives the curriculum for marketing education through our continued support of the Northwest Curriculum Academy. ¨ WAME officers serve on the Board of Directors for Washington DECA, giving you a voice in the student leadership organization. ¨ WAME awards scholarships to assist members to attend conferences around the country for professional development. ¨ WAME offers workshops, taught by veteran teachers, to assist beginning marketing/DECA teachers.
